What we do:
- Provide information and support which helps people to make
their own informed choices regarding the type of volunteering they
want to do.
- Support
people to take the initial steps into volunteering, by arranging
visits and informal meetings.
- Provide training which helps with pre-volunteering skills.
- Work with organisations to ensure that volunteers get the
best possible experience.
- Are active in recruiting, supporting and matching volunteers
in all areas of Angus through local volunteer information points.
- Develop on-line and up to date volunteer information and
opportunities through our Website.
Volunteer Centre Angus works with organisations and agencies to help
identify volunteer opportunities and to ensure that volunteers enjoy the
best possible experience. We ask organisations to register with us and
to provide details of volunteer opportunities. This helps us to provide
potential volunteers with the information and diversity
of choice.
There are Volunteer Centres which operate across Scotland You can find
your local Scottish Volunteer Centre here.
