Working with Vulnerable People
Volunteer Centre Angus . 21st April 2010 9.30am - 4pm
Aimed at volunteers working with vulnerable adults. Topics include what is a vulnerable adult, recognising abuse and neglect, what to do if you see or suspect abuse, your responsibilities as a volunteer and legislation
First Aid Training
Volunteer Centre Angus – March / April 2010 - Full day course
Course for volunteers covering basic first aid. Places will be limited so please book early.
Equalities and Cultural Diversity
Volunteer Centre Angus . 24th March & 23rd April 9.15am - 4pm
Equalities and cultural diversity training will help build the capacity of voluntary organisations and volunteers, working in the field of health, social care and wellbeing in order to equip them with knowledge about equality legislation.

Child protection training available through Community Learning and Development Service for volunteers and also POCSA (Protection of Children Scotland Act) about legal requirments for organisations and good practice
